ChrisK Runs: 1:47:58 !!!

Cancer has touched most of our lives. In my case, cancer took my Dad while my Mom is a cancer survivor. In memory of my Dad who I miss dearly, I'm training to run both a 1/2 and a Full marathon this autumn.

Last autumn I ran my first marathon in San Francisco in a time of 4:12:57. Then this spring I completed my second marathon in Napa in a time of 3:55:45. This coming autumn I'll run the marathon in San Francisco again, targeting a time of 3:45:00. I've run quite a few 1/2 marathons now, the latest being Santa Cruz in April which I completed in 1:43:47. This autumn I target going sub 1:40:00 in the San Jose Rock & Roll 1/2.

By this autumn I'm targeting to:
- raise $2,500 for cancer research,
- set a new personal best 1/2 time of sub 1hr40min, and
- set a new personal best Full time of sub 3hrs45min.
